Nigel Hawthorne, Joan Collins, and a talented supporting cast star in this beautiful witty film about love, and it's many rules, in the 18th century. The soundtrack in many ways outshines the film. With a variety of beautiful string melodies and Baroque dance music. And the hauting voice of Miriam to top it all off! Highly recommended for those who love classical film music. It is a real shame more people didn't see the film, and hear the music!
