Local Reykjavik son Sindri Mar Sigfusson took his time with this set of Wilson-esque "Pocket Symphonies". What began as a miniature - a voice, guitar... changed its spots, textures and colours with time, and the album accumulated into a kind of Nordic Animal Collective/Panda Bear type mini epic.

What a great Album! I love Seabear's latest also, but Sin Fang Bous seems to have something more going on that I really enjoy. Each track is a winner in my book. I was really surprised to see there weren't more reviews on this disc, I feel like it's been out for a little while now? Could it have something to do with not being able to sample the songs here on Amazon? Maybe try Morr Music's site for a taste, I don't know? Agree with the one other post at this time, that I think of a Icelandic Sufjan, very complex feeling, great song writing!

This is an amazing album. Don't really know how to describe it but I think it's some kind of Sufjan Stevens / Animal Collective mixture. Yeah, I know it's not cool to compare bands since it brings along all the baggage from the others; but I think all should give this a try. Favorite tracks are We Belong, Catch The Light, and Clangour and Flutes.
