All these years I've had to scrounge around through "Best ofs..." and anthologies trying to find this or that Clara song. Finally it's all here! Thank-you spirits of music. I will live out my life in samba glee!!!

A goldmine of super-sweet Brazilian samba,

Clara Nunes was the greatest star of the Brazilian "pagode" acoustic samba revival of the 1970s and '80s. She died in 1982, and (until now) almost all of her classic albums have been out of print on CD. This incredible box set gathers ALL of her studio recordings -- sixteen albums, with an extra disc of rarities, plus bonus tracks on most of the other discs. It's great. I love Clara Nunes and was floored when this came out. It's worth every penny!
