Codevilla crystalizes why America's efforts against terrorism have failed and will continue to fail. State sponsored terrorism seems to have been ignored or treated as a necessary evil. He shows why this policy is foolish and intellectually corrupt.

If you have not read any of Codevilla's writings on the GWOT, get this book. His views are absolutely essential to an understanding of whether the war is being appropriately prosecuted.
