My absolute FAVORITE!,
By
This review is from: Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning (Misc.)
I've been using Liquid Bronze for a few years now and I adore it. I have light olive skin with yellow undertones and this gives my face a warm, natural tan.
I do have to apply it twice to get the desired depth as it is a fairly light shade, but it's worth it. I can put makeup on within a few minutes of application. The lotion dries fast and doesn't break out my early 30's, yet acne prone skin. The color looks quite natural on me as I have 'italian skin' and my body tans if a lightbulb is too bright (well, practically!), but I wear sunscreen on my face. I can have my face match the rest of my body with this. When I go on holiday and acquire a deeper tan, I switch to Clarins Intense Bronze which is a liquid formula.

I have to disagree with the first two reviewers. I am on my third bottle of this stuff and I think it's great. I am fair skinned and the "tan" I get from this product looks completely natural. People always ask if I was away on vacation when I use it and are stunned when I tell them that my tan came out of a bottle. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I think it's a little pricey.

I'm Tan---gerine,

Pros:
1. Very easy to apply. 2. Dries very quickly. 3. Doesn't feel greasy at all. Cons: 1. The color is not exactly brown. I'm very very gold with a tangerine cast. My natural skin tone is fair to light. 2. I have to reapply the product everyday, it washes right off. The application is so easy. If the color were more natural on me I would repurchase based on ease of application alone.

Natural color that you can control,

I go back and forth between this formula and its newer, more intense version Clarins Intense Bronze Self Tanning Tint. This formula is a light lotion that absorbs well, and since I'm oily I use it in place of my regular moisturizer occasionally. I usually need to reapply to achieve a good depth of color, as it is very light with the first application. This is actually a good mechanism, since it allows you to control how much color you get. I disagree with the reviewer who said that it makes you look orange. Clarins self tanners are my favorite for a really believable tan. This formula has a little more fragrance to it than the intense version, but its pleasant so I dont mind it. For those worried about trying a face self-tanner, relax! This will make you look glowey with no UV damage.

Disappointing for a Clarins product,

The texture is great, and so is the scent, but the color is disappointing - I couldn't see a difference, and apparently under dim light my skin (I have medium-golden skin) looked a bit "orange." However, I suspect it would have worked had my skin been a little lighter.

I have been using this for years. Lightweight and doesn't break out my skin. The results are a nice golden color, and hardly any smell. I have tried tons of self tanners. Expensive but lasts a long time.

I think it's great.,

It does exactly what is suppose to do. A temporary natural looking tan for my face and neck. I have a very light complextion and don't care to sacrifice my skin by sunbathing. You can easily apply with a cotton pad and within a few hours have a nice natural looking tan. True if you don't reapply every day your tan fades away.
