This is another of many Clarion amps I currently own and have owned. This is a very powerful and efficient amplifier. See my review of the DPX2251. These amps are well very well made and designed by Robert Zeff/Nikola Engineering. Puts out higher power than advertised and very transparent sound. Very flexible 4/3/2 ch amplifier. Precise crossover control. All potentiometers and switches of high quality. All gold plated connectors and philips head screws for easy adjustment. Cooling fan and unique heat sink very well implemented. Clarion logo able to be rotated to suit your install. Highly recommended A+.

I was looking for a great budget 4 channel amp to run my front component set and bridge to my subs in the rear. After doing much research, I selected the APX4361 and am extremely happy. I'm no stranger to good amps (I've owned numerous Precision Power amps, built back when PPI was top notch) but I needed an amp that met a certain price point and also one that would fit in a compact space. As another reviewer commented, this is a Robert Zeff designed unit (he started Zapco) and he is known to be one of the premier amplifier designers today. I have been impressed by both the sound quality and power of this amplifier and so I would highly recommend it to anyone. There is actually a new version of this amp out called the XH5410 and I understand that it is almost identical to the APX4361 except for the outer case and the crossover is improved a bit; I would not hesitate to buy this if I need to buy another amp.
