Speakers were just as described. Sound good but would probably be much better with an amp to boost power. I am pleased with the purchase.

Very good sound reproduction with ample base. I use the speakers in the cockpit where a sturdy exterior grill prevents damage during sailing and sheet handling.

I have four of these on my boat.
Two in the cabin and two at the helm. They work well in the small areas they are in. I don't use an amplifier, just straight off the Clarion M309 unit.
I installed these about 18 months ago, the speakers are holding up well in the salt environment.
Worth the price....

hey work well and have a great sound. I have 4 of them in my boat for the last year and they have held up well. They are expensive though.

Excellent Product and I recommend this item to anybody. I take my time to do research and settled on this one. I'm very happy with my decision.

Our boat came with a Clarion sound setup. After 4 years outside the speaker cones finally rotted out. Since most speakers use different mounting holes you're faced with a problem if you want to switch brands. But outside in a boat there's not a lot of potential for great fidelity. So finding these speakers cheap on Amazon made it an easy choice. If you want to replace your existing Clarion speakers at a reasonable price then these are the ones to get. Otherwise be prepared to start drilling new mounting holes for other brands.

Well I am ordering these speakers again because they fit the 4 cutouts on my boat. But I do not like them very much. They just do not hold up. Two of them do get some water, but the other two stay dry. It does not matter they will only last 2-3 years. I tried to replace them with Boss 6.5 speakers but they are too large for the cutout. These speakers are not worth thier high price.

These speakers were the original in our seadoo boat. after too much salt water and direct water they fell apart. But they sounded great and lasted 4 years under those harsh conditions so we bought the same ones. we plan to take a little better care of them this time so they last 10+ years. these speakers can get pretty loud if you want to crank them up too. the sound is still crisp at high volumes. we crank them up while we are sitting on the beach and they still sound clear. gotta love music.
