Bluetooth Ready with BLT370
Hands-free conversations (HSP/HFP) on Bluetooth-ready cell phones promote safe driving. Using the optional BLT370, you can wirelessly connect an appropriate phone to your vehicle's audio system, with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) so you can enjoy music stored on the phone or portable media player, controlled by AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile).

Enjoy Your Music
The CZ300 plays back your CDs and burnt CD-R/RW discs, but it will also take CD-DA discs loaded with MP3/WMA/AAC music files, for hours of listening on one disc. You can also play back audio files directly from a USB thumb drive using the USB port.

Superior iPod and iPhone Connectivity
Just connect the USB cable to get direct and complete control of your iPod. Additionally, the head unit has been designed to connect to iPhone and has been certified as "Works with iPhone" to integrate its communication and entertainment capabilities into your car system.

This includes iTunes tagging capability, so if you hear a song on the radio that you like, you can tag it for later downloading from the iTunes Store. Save time finding and accumulating the tunes you want.

XM Direct 2 Tuner Ready
Interface with an XM Satellite Radio Receiver (CNP2000UC) lets you instantly upgrade your system to receive digital satellite radio broadcasts with digital quality audio.

H.M.I. Balances Design and Usability
Clarion's quest for a superior H.M.I. (Human-Machine Interface) resulted in this year's distinctive "starburst" control button array. Buttons are clustered symbolically for intuitive operation, with a large rotary volume control that is blue illuminated for easy recognition and sensational looks.

BeatEQ for User Customizable Sound
In addition to providing 3 preset equalization patterns--BASS BOOST, IMPACT, and EXCITE--Clarion's BeatEQ even lets you freely customize the level and range of the bass, midrange and treble portions of each pattern. You can tune the sound to your liking, depending on the category of music, for a more fulfilling listening experience.

4ch/2V RCA Output with Subwoofer Control
With 2 sets of RCA outputs, you are free to add external power amplifiers to create a more powerful, sophisticated audio system. Also, independent volume control is enabled for the subwoofer so you can adjust the level of bass output to your liking at any time, regardless of the output level of the other channels.

Extremely impressive - especially considering I asked for a new one about 5pm the previous day!

I've tried a couple of things to fix it but they just made it worse.

This stereo has some really neat features and really helped the stock speakers out alot. Nice looking blue buttons and scrolling info is white. Big volume knob is easy to adjust and the remote is even easier. The Iphone/Ipod connection is cool and being able to control the Ipod from the radio is nice only I don't think you can select what song what, just what ever comes up and you scroll through until you find what you are looking for. The usb connector is a cable you can mount anywhere which is nice.

The biggest complaint with the stereo is setting presets. Its a real pain and the auto set function never gets the channel you want, of course. The other is that there is an extra cable on back that the manual doesn't cover and the manual doesn't cover custom settings that are in the stereo. There are 3 different ranges for each base, Mid, and treble that I'm not sure what does. Doesn't dim with factory dash lights either like I think it should.

For only $50 this is an awesome stereo! Can't wait to order the HD module to go with it next.

This is my second Clarion CZ300, because the first one was DOA. I wired it up and got everything connected, but it wouldn't even turn on! I'm no expert when it comes to car stereos, so I fiddled with it for quite awhile and double-checked everything, but it still wouldn't turn on.

Finally, I took it to Best Buy thinking I'd just pay them to install it. The guy at Best Buy gave it a quick look over and determined it wasn't my wiring. When he hooked up the stereo to his test bench, we discovered that the stereo itself was bad!

Needless to say I was extremely frustrated. When I got home I got on Amazon and asked them to exchange it. My new stereo arrived the next day! Extremely impressive - especially considering I asked for a new one about 5pm the previous day!

Anyway, I tried the wiring harness from the old stereo in the new one (so I wouldn't have to do a lot of re-splicing) and the new stereo didn't work! It turns out it was the wiring harness that came with the Clarion that was bad! Once I wired up the new harness, the stereo worked perfectly!

Aside from my trouble with bad wiring from Clarion, this is a great stereo for the price (I got it for $5o - I think it was a deal of the day). I'm especially impressed with Amazon's speed in exchanging my stereos!

Easy install and workable manual. This unit was a fine upgrade for my '85 F150, making good sound even over the wind noise and rattles of an older vehicle. Had originally hoped for for a front panel USB port, but found that the cord for the rear USB reached all the way to my glovebox. With an application of velcro, the port sits securely in the glovebox and I am now able to leave my stick attached, secure, and hidden. This works great for me.

Just got this stereo and it looks and works great! This stereo does alot. The USB connection is awesome. Some previous reviewers commented on the time not staying on. I found that if you turn off the screen saver and you push the time button... it stays on for me. Now everytime you change source or change a function, you need to press the time button again. Overall, for the price and the fuctionality of this stereo, it is perfect.

My initial impression of this stereo was very good.
Excellent sound quality over the cheap stereo I had that died on me.
After using it for a while I started noticing weird problems.
One is that most FM stations fade in and out while driving even when they should have a strong signal.
The AM stations are fine.
I never had that problem with the old stereo.
Another weird thing is that after hooking up an extra amp hooked to the rear out connections, the amp powers off when I hook up my Ipod.
What the heck??

My husband installed this and he is not a radio guy. I plugged in my mp3 player and all of my songs played. I love this radio and you can't beat the price!

Much better than my old Sony MEX-BT5100. The Clarion has better Bluetooth performance and has great visibility on it's display. My only disappointment was the fact that the THD300 digital radio addon sucks, although I can't tell if that is Clarion's fault, or if HD Radio itself is a POS.

I just got it installed it in my car and I can say: so far so good.
I tested the USB and it works, tested with CD and the radio receiver and both also work. When listening to radio the sound quality decreased noticeably.

Also, the LCD and the screen saver is very ugly, I don't like it, but what I look for is sound quality at a decent range.

The bluetooth doesn't work, or at least I haven't managed it work (I know I need the BLT370), but I believe it is not going to be a feature that I would use.

The buttons and the initial configuration is non-intuitive and, as a whole, the easiness of the unit is not good. The exterior looks good, but working with its software is not as easy as it should.

One more thing, important facts are RMS values which I didn't find on the product description which is 18W × 4RMS and peak value (not so important) is 45x4W.

Even though it has a couple of things that I don't like, the price I found for it (59.99) was irresistible!
