5.0 out of 5 stars Clears up the allrgies without the drowsiness!
I am a BzzAgent and I recieved a sample of Children's Claritin syrup in exchange for my honest opinion. My 5 year ols son has always suffered from allergies but I was nervous to use medication. He always got the itchy watery eyes and scratchy throat. When I saw that Children's Claritin Syrup was the #1 Pediatrician recommended non-drowsy allergy brand I was really...

3.0 out of 5 stars Claritin is GREAT! But my children refuse to take the liquid & prefer the RediTabs - cheaper if you cut adult RediTab in 1/2

I love Claritin as it has worked wonders for my 4 year old son, who suffers from seasonal allergies...but he along with his 5 year old sister refuse to take this liquid Claritin because they claim it is "yuck". I have tried it myself and find that it does have a slight medicine taste. Because of that "yuck" taste, my children prefer the Claritin RediTabs. Those are so expensive that I went to our childrens pediatrician in search of a cheaper method to treat their allergies and I was informed that the childrens dosage contains 5mg of the active ingredient and the adult dosage contains 10mg...thus cutting the adult RediTab in 1/2 results in the same dosage as the childrens formula. This has been a wonderful help in paying for my son's Claritin because an adult box of 30 RediTabs lasts him 60 days for the same price as a childrens box of 20 chewable tablets. Now, I am no doctor and am only relaying to you what my childs pediatrician said was OK to do. :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great flavored Claritin that is great for kids, May 23, 2011
This review is from: Claritin Children's Claritin Allergy, Non-Drowsy, Grape, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
My child loves the grape flavor and how easy it is to take Childrens Claritin. We received a sample from Bzzagent to try and to spread the word to others with how we thought of the product. Its #1 Pediatritian approved and it has helped with her itchy eyes and throat. It also helps her runny nose and makes the spring time go by a little easier.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Relief and doesn't create drowsyness!, May 17, 2011
This review is from: Claritin Children's Claritin Allergy, Non-Drowsy, Grape, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I am a bzzagent and received this as a product to try. My daughter suffers from seasonal alergies and I was able to try this product on her. It does provide quick relief, however, it does not last 24 hours, and being a 24 hour medication she can't take another dose if she really needs too. It works great for us at bedtime, she'll sleep all night, so that's when I usually give it too her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clears up the allrgies without the drowsiness!, May 2, 2011

He always got the itchy watery eyes and scratchy throat. When I saw that Children's Claritin Syrup was the #1 Pediatrician recommended non-drowsy allergy brand I was really impressed. I also really love the fact that it tastes like grape to get him to use it but contains no dyes. That is great for his health and also for spills. Now you don't have to worry about purple stains that won't come out! It is also sugar free so you don't have to worry about excess sugar. I will be using this from now on!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Great!, April 27, 2011
This review is from: Claritin Children's Claritin Allergy, Non-Drowsy, Grape, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
My son has suffered from allergies since he was about 9 months old. Finding a product that you could give to him from the age of 2 and on was difficult. Finding a product that worked at that age without making him sleeping or over hyper was even more difficult. Now finally we have a product that works for us. I give this to him once every other day and it keeps his nose from running and his eyes from watering. He loves to spend time outside and I hated having to carry a whole box of tissues just to go to the park. Now we don't have to worry about that. I am so thankful that I got to try this product for as part of a Bzz Campaign and received a free bottle to test and coupons to share. I love being a BzzAgent. I would have never thought to by Claritin for my son as I thought it was only an adult allergy medicine. I will continue to purchase this product for my family. I would recommend this product to anyone with children who suffer from allergies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Will help allergies, depends on the child, March 13, 2009
This review is from: Claritin Children's Claritin Allergy, Non-Drowsy, Grape, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
My daughter has terrible allergies -- mostly runny, stuffed up nose. Claritin helps her nose a little, but not completely. It still runs, but not as badly. The Claritin Reditabs works wonders for my son, so it does depend on the child. Neither of them get drowsy on Claritin.

This Claritin liquid is grape flavored, but it still has that medicinal taste. I don't care for it, but my daughter doesn't complain. I like anything dosed only once a day, especially for kids. Wish it worked as well for my daughter as it does for my son.

Bought this for my 2 year old who seems to have allergies. She likes the taste and doesn't complain about. It's tough to tell if it works though so I'll leave that up to each parent to decide.

...what in the world was Claritin thinking? So it's late at night and my 5 year old daughter has hives. I'm told to give her an antihistamine and I get this brand new Children's Claritin Allergy GLASS bottle. I pour the 1 teaspoon as directed in the little cup provided. But as I turn to put the GLASS bottle back in the medicine cabinet, it slips right through my hands and goes crash all over our tiled bathroom floor. I'm not accustomed to the extra heavy weight of the GLASS since all our other children's medicine comes in plastic. Did I mention that it was late at night? Thank goodness I still have the 1 teaspoon filled little cup to give to my daughter. I'm tired but still I have to clean up this mess of GLASS and liquid, and then write this angry review. Thanks a lot Claritin! Good night.
