New Wallabees Not As Comfortable As Previous Pair, September 9, 2010
I bought this new pair of Wallabees, because the previous pair was very comfortable. The old pair lasted me two years, and I absolutely loved them. However, much to my dismay, these new ones don't feel nearly as good. Granted, the previous pair had a wide width (not medium) and had a man made sole rather than the natural crepe sole. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I will never again buy another pair of Wallabees unless they are exactly like the first pair I bought. The new Wallabees are very disappointing. When I walk in the new ones, the left one feels okay, but the right one feels uncomfortable to say the least. It's probably my fault for buying a pair of shoes online, because I wasn't able to try them on and walk around in them. I will never make this mistake again. If you do buy a pair of Wallabees, make sure you buy them from a store where you can test them out. Sad to say, not all Wallabees feel the same, and not all Wallabees feel as comfortable as the next pair. It saddens me also that Wallabees are now made in China. I guess a good thing doesn't last forever. I was in love with my old pair of Wallabees, and even though they're worn out, I still wear them around the house because of how comfortable they are. This new pair sucks butt! They weren't worth the $141 I paid for them. Be very careful about buying this shoe. You may not get the satisfaction that other people brag about. Now, I'm stuck with a pair of shoes that aren't nearly as comfortable as their predecessor. Next time, I'll go to a store to buy my shoes. :(
