5.0 out of 5 stars believer in clarks
i believe they fit true to size. maybe a little narrower than i'm accustomed to, but they seemed to form to my feet after a couple times wearing them. even still, most comfortable shoes i have. would recommend them to anybody. very satisfied. 5 stars doesnt do these shoes justice.

This is not a review but rather feedback since I know this will be read and not posted. I need shoes because I am leaving to Europe tomorrow, 12/9. After a lot of research, I ordered this pair only to be told that "because of inventory issues" I would not get it. The message went on to add: "But wait! As an alternative, you may consider this other more expensive,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Most comfortable shoes, December 9, 2009
These are among the most comfortable shoes I have worn. They are a little larger than size but not a problem, just feel a little loose where as most shoes feel snug for me in the same size. The leather outer is very soft and could scuff or scratch easily. I wear them in the office. They are great for the office work environment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clark brand width ran small for me, September 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Love the shoe but needed a wide in Clarks shoes. Normally a D width is fine for me with other shoe brands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, March 9, 2011
Love everything about clarks, except the fact that they aren't made in Europe anymore, but in china and neighboring countries. I tried on so many different brands, many were listed as most comfortable. These were bred for my feet. They are padded comfortably, the soles are not rubber (so they last longer), they have air vents, and they can be worn in anything. I love these chukka boots and am looking to buy a winter version from Clarks when prices drop.

After a lot of research, I ordered this pair only to be told that "because of inventory issues" I would not get it. The message went on to add: "But wait! As an alternative, you may consider this other more expensive, atrocious-looking pair." Classic bait and switch. Your company's natural progression should be in the mortgage business. LendingTree.com will soon start learning from your practices. Please trust that I realize that not getting the shoes is inconsequential. The source of my disgust is that I signed up for your credit card in order to get a $40 discount. Will that ever be applied? Who cares? I now have no intention of ever using it but I cannot cancel it without affecting my credit score. I will chalk this one under the 'terrible experience' and 'former Amazon promoter/advocate' columns.
