this is the perfect boot for work. i have to confess that i try to get away with wearing clogs as often as possible, because my feet crave the comfort. this boot is just about the same height heel as a clog, but looks really dressy when you need it to. i am officially in love with the artisan line for clarks. the arch support just can't be beat-- and this boot is no exception. i ended up getting the extra-wide and it fits perfectly...so i would guess that this boot runs a little tiny bit narrow of true. may consider ordering m if you are usually n, and so on. love this gorgeous boot.

This is pretty comfortable out of the box. I was able to wear it all day and the bottom of my feet felt comfortable. It has good arch support and padding for the feet for someone who has normal arches. The toe box is a little snug but will stretch. It tapers at the toes so it does not look too boxy. Overall it's a pretty nice pair of boots.

When I opened the box I uttered, "Uh-oh." I was sure that these boots were not size 12; they looked much smaller. I was wrong, the boots fit my size 12 foot! ! Amazon was the only online store I could find that carried size 12 and they were far less expensive than the competition. Clark's Dara boots seem well made and the leather is very soft. The toe box is snug but seems to be loosening after a few minutes of wear. I love these boots!

I've just returned from another business trip to the snowy Midwest; wore my black pair all week and so comfortable and appropriate with business attire. Next week's trip back to the same area will be the brown ones. Very, very comfortable, fit well and have been perfect for my business travel around the US.

I've never owned Clarks boots, but heard they were a good buy--now I'm wondering why I didn't get them before! These were super-comfortable right out of the box, and available in a variety of widths (mine are wide.) Fit? Perfect. Style? For someone who takes a size 10, these looked tiny coming out of the box, and don't make my feet look like I'm wearing skis! The heel is a great height for work (not too high, but stylish) and the detailing on the front of the boots is a nice touch. I'd get a second pair NOW!

They fit like a dream, they're comfortable, everyone comments on them, and I'd buy several pairs in different colors if I could!

These boots are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I have bad feet but can wear these all day at work. The boot gives the appearance of high heels yet walking on them is easy because they are wide enough to distribute the weight. yet they don't look clunky because the heels are slightly angled so they look more graceful. The leather is soft and supple. The toe box is comfortably roomy even though the boot retains a more fashionable outline than completely round-toed. I have the WW and have room for a small gel pad underneath the ball of my foot. This works for me, someone else might prefer the W if they wanted a more snug fit.

Note: I love these boots so much I wanted to get another in brown. But the Dara is no longer available. Clarks brought out "Dara II" - which I did order - and comparing these, they are exactly the same as Dara. Only considerably more expensive, since it gave them the chance to raise the price. Grrr!

I'm a big fan of Clark's and these boots are another great entry.

Four stars because I really don't like the foam lining. They will be too warm for some situations and probably won't wear as well because of the foam.
