Very comfortable from the start. I read reviews here and elsewhere which noted that the straw portion across the foot was uncomfortable for some people. Other reviewers also recommended sizing up 1/2 a size. I did that and they fit very well. All in all, stylish and comfortable....and at a great price with the Amazon sale.

Pretty, different style.........nice fit, great shoes. However, seem is be smaller than marked, order a 1/2 size larger for better fit.

I love Clark's shoes but the sandals are a little narrow for me, 'cause i use to buy WIDE shoes.I recomend it. It are so light and not to high.

Yes, the wide band is too tight, even up-sizing to a 9-1/2 from a 9. I wet the band to stretch, and then wore the sandals, which helped a little. Other than the band, though, they are attractive, appear well made, and run true to length/width.

I bought these sandals in white. They are a bit narrow (I ordered my regular size), but half size up would be too long for me.
Anyway I wear them at the office and everything is OK. However, I would not venture to wear them for a long walk or shopping trip - they are good for go-out and sit alternatives.

Must be the economy. Anyways, very good deal. I got the butter and the white. In my size, they were under $25 each, what a deal!! I was worried because of some reviews that described them as uncomfortable, but amazon's returns are so easy and hassle free, that I decided to give them a try. The straps do not feel uncomfortable to me, like some other reviewers mentioned. Probably it is a proper seizing issue. I would recommend that if you are between two half sizes, to get the bigger one, so the straps would not be too tight on your feet.
Granted, I have had more comfortable Clarks before, ones that make you feel like you are not weariny nothing on your feet. But they were not as pretty as these, and these are still reasonably comfortable on the feet, and easy on the back. I wish they had other colors in my size. The green looks gorgeous. No regrets whatsoever.

For clarks, they are not well made at all. the braids cut into my feet and they look very old lady.

I normally find Clarks shoes to be very comfortable and well made. The lower portion of this shoe is great, but as other reviewers have mentioned the upper is terrible. I cannot wear these shoes for very long before they begin scraping and rubbing on my feet.
However, they look great and I refuse to return them opting instead to only wear them when I don't have a lot of walking to do.

I am disapointed about this shoe. They are pretty however the sole of the shoe feels like sandpaper after wearing for an afternoon. It scraped my feet and my feet were hurting. I wanted so much to return however I already wore them. Clarks are normally very comfortable but this shoe was not well thought out. Needless to say I wish that I can send them back. Buyers please be aware of this shoe.
