5.0 out of 5 stars Clark Wave Shoe Review
Just got back from a 15 day trip all around Great Britain and Ireland and wore these shoes all the time. They were great. Very comfortable and fashionable. They went with everything. I had to walk a lot on very uneven pavements and terrain and they worked on all of them. I give them a big 2 thumbs up.

3.0 out of 5 stars nice shoes but small
I have many pairs of Clarks shoes but I feel that the quality is slipping. This pair is a very tight fit so it's not as comfortable as they used to be. They seem to make the size smaller and the leather is not as soft as before. I would order half size bigger just in case next time. However, the design is still very nice and the cushion makes them soft on the heels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome shoe, June 23, 2010

These shoes are very comfortable. They are lightweight and I can wear them all day without any problems. I normally wear a 9 1/2, but decided to go up a half size for alittle extra toe room. I tried these on in the store, but they did not carry the stone color. I found them on Amazon and they were the same price as in the store, but by ordering from Amazon I did not have to pay tax and the shipping was free.

I have been having trouble finding a shoe that gives me support all day. I work in a hospital and on my feet a lot. These have been wonderful. No foot pain at the end of the day. Great fit and very comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Attractive but tight fit, September 12, 2010

This is mostly a comfy shoe. It's got good support for the back, but the fit is slightly tight. I tried the wide version (size 6) but it was too big. I think the Medium would be better if you're willing to wear the shoe until it stretches a bit. Overall it looks great and feels pretty good. My feet did get tired when the shoe was new but no blisters.

The white one is a great substitute for a tennis shoe and provides good walking support. There's a slip on style that has a slightly better fit, not as narrow at the upper foot area.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm liking this shoe!, July 25, 2011

I have big, wide, fat feet, so I wasn't sure about this one. I've been buying a different brand of walking shoes for the past few years; my feet look huge in them, but for comfort's sake, I was willing to look like a clown. I've been used to buying size 10W in order to have plenty of toe room, so that's what I bought in these. I could have actually worn a 9.5, but I'll keep these. These shoes feel very good on my feet, and they're much more flattering, making my feet look slimmer and more feminine. The "Wave" style with the curved sole actually gives a little more spring to my step. The insole is nice, with a little extra padding under the ball of the foot. The leather outer looks to be of good quality, too. I'm going to give these a few more weeks, and may look at ordering another color. At this price, and for this quality, it's well worth it!

4.0 out of 5 stars nice shoes, don't work for me, January 29, 2011

I gave it a try..... I have feet with lots of "issues" so it did not surprise me. I have a broad forefoot and it was a bit too tapered. I also look for shoes with removable insoles since I wear custom orthotics. This shoe's toe box was a little too low for that to work with my orthotics, which are thicker than most insoles. Too bad, I find them cute- though you can decide that for yourself with the picture!- and the pewter color was going to be fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice look, but a tad elf-like, December 12, 2010

I have always loved Clarks shoes, so I thought to give these a try. I was mostly pleased with them except they do point upward a bit more than I expected in the toe region. The toes of the shoes don't actually touch the floor, which I guess they did on purpose to make the "wave" motion during walking. It makes the shoes look juuuust a bit elf-like or clog-like. It doesn't bother me much and the shoes are comfy. Happy 'wave' walking!

5.0 out of 5 stars Light, comfortable shoe, October 21, 2011

These shoes are comfortable like sneakers but don't look like sneakers. They have leather uppers, some ventilation, and look very nice. But what's particularly good is that they are very light, so not tiring to wear and well-suited for taking when traveling. I brought them on a trip, wore them every day and walked alot; they never hurt my feet. I don't know how consequential the wave sole was -- at any rate, the shoes are very comfortable.
