4.0 out of 5 stars CLARY SAGE....lovely!!
I've a dried-spice/herb rack in my kitchen that sees heavy use. Clary Sage and Common Sage (used for cooking) are different herbs. This essential oil mixed into a bath (with a carrier such as olive oil), is a wonderful skin conditioning treatment and it has an amazing fragrance. Not much is needed.
this small bottle will last indefinitely. Next up? Lavender!!!

I hated the smell of this and the smell stayed in the house for about a day and it was strong!

4.0 out of 5 stars Corrected information, January 15, 2010
This review is from: Clary Sage 100% Pure Essential Oil - 10 ml (Health and Beauty)
The information presented by a reviewer below is not applicable to this product. Clary Sage is different from Common Sage (to which he refers) in that its proportion of thujone is much lower, to the extent that thujone is often not listed as a constituent in documents that present analytical data about the constituents of herbs.

I haven't used this product, but I'll rate it 4 stars because it's necessary to rate an item to review it, and I'm regaring this as a cautious endorsement of the generic product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Understand what you are buying, June 21, 2006
The sale of sage oil is perfectly legal and may be safe to use as a dietary supplement. Nontheless, I would never use it as it is known to contain up to 50% thujone by weight. Needless to say thujone is toxic and is heavily regulated in the EU and banned from US food and beverages(alcohol). Thujone was once thought to be a psychoactive drug, but that notion is usually thought to be Victorian hearsay.
