This review is from: The Clash: Tory Crimes and Other Tales (DVD)
Maybe 85% talking mainly from folks who were there. About 5 to 10% of the interview time is of the band members 15 to 20 years after their breakup. There's about 10 photos of the band from various times and locations in the photo gallery in each disc. Footage from: Ohne Maulkorbe Vienna 1981; The Clash in Munich 1978; DOA 1978; London Weekend Show 1976; Punk Rock Movie 1978; Aylesbury Friars 1980; Bond's News Reports 1981; Tomorrow With Tom Snyder 1981; Alright Now 1979; and Fridays 1980. I don't think any live footage of any song is shown for more than 30 seconds each. Quality of the interview footage recording wise is excellent. Listening to the people talking I guess takes some effort, it's not riveting but it's worth having if you can get this as a reasonable price. Least it's not a horrible rip off. They're good at noting what footage comes from what source. Don Letts has a lotta dreadlocks. And virtually everyone is over 45 even 50. Heck, me too.
