I hated the 80s. Hated them with a passion. I didn't like the music. The Fashions. The attitudes. The leaders. etc. etc.... Well, this musical/comedy play/video luckily mocks all of those. Thank God. Its a wonderfully quirky cast with top notch talent. Tony nominee Veanne Cox steals the show, as does fellow Broadway star Annie Golden. As the two token ladies of the cast they steal the show in every song and scene the two are in. But the guys hold their own! This is a must buy for anyone who hated (or loved) the 80s. Or for anyone who even has heard of the 80s.

Why this title never received more acclaim is beyond me. This is a video publication of a stage performance that couples no-holds-barred situational comedy with a truely insiteful social comparason (not to mention airline disasters, VD, drug use, politics and health food). If you lived through either the '60s or the '80s you must see this video. The musical numbers are well composed and performed for the most part. The band is excellent. There are of a couple of actors who obviously don't sing for a living, but I felt this only added to the humor. I give it five stars for a truely funny and original screenplay. A must see!
