This is the Latest training from Pinnacle Studio Guru, Paul Holtz. He is the one of the best trainers I have ever seen and can teach novice and veteran users alike the ins and outs of the latest version of Pinnacle Studio version 14. Holtz has always had the highest praise and reviews on his previous training tiles for Pinnacle Studio. You will have edited a complete project in the first few minutes of the training. This Training DVD has you creating real world projects along the way, such as Photo montages, Child sporting events, Stop Motion video's like the Old Gumby and Pokie charachers, special effects, DVD menu creation...well you get the picture. It really is "Complete Training" for Pinnacle Studio 14. The training is produced so that even I, the novice Studio 14 user, can follow along. At the beginning, Holtz details how to install Studio 14, the plugins, the Sure Thing Labeler, and goes over the registration and serial number, the Studio 14 content, and so on. After selecting all the parameters, the software installs, and then the plugins install. The second chapter compares the various Pinnacle Studio products. Studio comes in several software versions as well as software/hardware combinations. He covers all three versions of the software, Pinnacle Studio HD, Pinnacle Studio Ultimate, and Studio Ultimate Collection, and details the different features in the three versions. Chapters: Smart Movie- In this chapter, Holtz shows how to use the Smart Movie tool to create a music video. He discusses the features in Smart Movie, the music video styles, creating an opening title, adding closing credits, and adding footage. He shows how to add footage to the Timeline and how to add music to your video clips with ScoreFitter, a music generating program that adds music to match the length of your video clips. He goes in detail how to work with ScoreFitter, how to adjust the relative volume in ScoreFitter. The Studio Interface- Holtz covers the Studio interface and how it is laid out. "Import", "Edit", and "Make Movie". In this series of chapters, Holtz covers the three main buttons in Studio; Import, Edit, and Make Movie. He details what jobs that you can do under each of the three buttons and covers in detail how to use them. He also covers the icons in the interface window and shows how to make adjustments to the editing window, defines what each of the icons on the interface are, and what they do. He covers the videos, transitions, montage themes, Titles, Photos and Frame grabs, DVD Menus, Sound Effects, and music. This is very complete training which is impotant because you learn things you never knew you could do with Studio. Holtz is a competent communicator and covers this subject matter very well. You feel like you are learning from a master and Holtz's 20 plus years of editing experience comes shining through.
