I got this chess set for under four bucks at a brick and mortar store, and it's okay for my particular purposes... to follow along with an instructional chess book or to add dimension to a game I'm playing on the computer.
The quality is lacking, however (the board doesn't even sit totally flat), and I would definitely advise against either a) playing two-person live games or b) trying to teach children with this set. If you're looking at more than five bucks definitely go with something of better quality. |
