5.0 out of 5 stars A Curious but Exellent Keyboard
I have been using this keyboard for 1 year now. It may not be for everyone, but I like it so much I bought another for back up.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT A MECHANICAL BOARD
This is a membrane board with key components designed to feel slightly mechanical. But it is not a mechanical board, and suffers from all the problems associated with membrane boards. The mechanical Cherry boards all start with the model number G80.

I have been using this keyboard for 1 year now. It may not be for everyone, but I like it so much I bought another for back up.

There seem to be increased and continuous resistance as you press down a key. So you feel like you never hit the bottom. To those who prefer tactical feedback similar to mechanical keyboards, this is the complete opposite. On the other hand, the keys are extremely sensitive, so you only need to exert minimum amount of pressure for the letters to show up. This makes typing easy, fast, and almost effortless, like your fingers can sort of float on top of the keyboard.

Also, this keyboard is very quiet even if you bang the keys in the middle of heated MSN discussion. It is so well constructed that after 1 years of typing on it at least 5 hours non-stop a day, I barely noticed any difference. Most of the other keyboards, even logitech and microsoft in the same price range, somewhat falls apart after 1 year.

I recommend this keyboard to people who do not have a strong preference for mechanical keyboards. And video gamers should probably stay away from it also. If you want a solidly built keyboard for typing up documents, data entry, or writing, you should give it a try. The keys may feel odd at first, not having that "click" feeing like most other keyboards, but if you can get use to it, it makes typing fast and comfortable.
