With Hot Rod flames on your mixer, it gets tons of attention like your mixer should! Notice the nice color bleed, the pin stripping, and smell of envy it creates! Actual color bleeds and pin striping will be similar, but each is one of a kind due to printing variations.
The decal flames that are separate pieces can be cut apart and placed on other parts of the mixer, like the sides, to give a real customized look to your mixer.
This vinyl is meant to last 5 years outdoors(!) so it will last in your kitchen as long as your mixer does.
Basic installation instructions, cleaning pad, and trouble shooting guide included FREE with order. Please do not use harsh chemicals like 409 as it may damage the graphics. For added protection a layer of shellac (which is always food grade) is acceptable.
Installation is easy. Clean with heavy soap and rinse all residue off. Mark the location. Take off the sticky paper, press the sticker on your mixer, remove the protective top paper. Anyone can do it and it makes a GREAT GIFT!
The kit will not interfere with your accessories, the Pasta Roller Maker (PRA), Food Grinder (FGA), Juicer, Can Opener, Ice Cream Maker, Sausage Stuffer, Slicer Shredder (RVSA), Grain Mill, extra bowl, or pouring shield.

Note also if you send your mixer back to KitchenAid under warranty, so go your flames. This product is has no affiliation or endorsement by KitchenAid. The decal manufacturer is a third party vendor who likes and uses KitchenAid products but improves on their color scheme.
Product includes the 3 various sized decals on one sheet, instructions, and cleaning pad.

I have had this for 3 years and it still gets great comments. It has delaminated a bit where the clear outer layer has pulled up from the colored layer beneath it, but seems stable for now. It is NOT peeling off the mixer.
I may have to replace with a new set (maybe the plane decal set?) in a little while. It is expensive, but less expensive and a lot more fun than a silly, girly-looking quilted cover. It all depends whose mixer it is in the family. This one is mine.

This decal itself is made well, though I would appreciate some more instructions and tips on applying it to my kitchenaid. I put it on too close to the front curve and it wrinkled up in the front, so I tried taking it off and of course the adhesive didn't work as well. Then I bought a bottle of spray adhesive to fix it and must not have been slow enough peeling it off and it ripped this ugly jagged tear. So I stopped totally and have resigned myself to leaving it on and smoothing down the edges EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have 5 kids and plenty else to do as we just moved across the country, so I have yet to carefully peel it off and attempt to get my money back. I would like to try again, but I'm afraid if I damage it further, I am out the 20 bucks+ that I paid, and I'd rather have it on than not. Sad, huh?
It's worth the money b/c you can't find anything like the flames anywhere else, but if you want turtles or something like those white decals you put in car windows from Wal-Mart or wherever, you could get those cheaper or the same price. If you do buy it, go slow and don't try to make it curve over the front unless you plan well and overlap it slowly. And get some spray adhesive to strengthen it. Overall, I'd try one more time (when I get the time), and call my problems me being impatient, but I stand by the need for better directions.

I was looking for a flame sticker for my Sigg water bottle and discovered this item. The size fits the one liter water bottle perfectly. I was concerned about the durability of the adhesive with constant use but the decal is very durable and has stood up well. I would recommend it for a mixer too.
