Classic Accents Single Pole Push Button Dimmer Light Switch

We remodeled our kitchen in the summer of 2006 & added one of these switches to the main ceiling light. It's terrific. The dimmer enables bright task lighting for food prep & cooking, as well softer, ambient lighting when the cooking is done. It is a heavily used light switch, going on & off several times a day, and it works just as well as it did the day we installed it. Installation was as easy as a conventional dimmer. In addition to the dimmer model, we've got several push button switches from Classic Accents throughout our 1940 house. They work great and look even better!

I really wanted a dimmer for the bathroom light for bath time, and this seemed great when we decided to go with push-buttons. What I don't like is that side by side with another push button, the top button sticks out about 1/4" further than the other buttons. As it shares a box with a standard push button, this is quite noticeable.
Installed, it also pushes out the light switch cover. Also, we had to drill out the hole on the light switch cover to get the top button to fit because its has a slightly larger diameter.
So, if you absolutely must have a dimmer, this will do, but it is certainly not perfect.

This is cool. Push the on button in and rotate to dim. Only one button actually does anything, but it looks like the classic single gang switch.
