I have sort of a love/hate relationship with the boat. It works as advertised and I still believe it is the best boat for the money. One side of my pontoon leaked the first time I used it. Patched it as best I could but I think it is on a seam. Having the duel air chambers is super. Even if one chamber leaks, you can stay afloat and can add air to fill the other chamber. This can save your trip. The oars are excellent. I use a small trolling motor, but it is difficult to use placed behind you. Your head is always in the way. I will never go back to a float tube this is much better. The pontoon works better than a canoe or john boat because you can use your flippers for most of your movement. I haul this boat on the top of my car and it is easy to load and unload. While it isn't perfect, it is the best unit for the money and is super for fly fishing on small to medium sized lakes.

At first I thought this boat was the best for the money, but I soon realized I fell into the trap of a cheaply constructed Chinese-made piece of crap. Let me start out by saying that I am an avid fisherman and use this boat at least once a week (maybe that's the problem). I think part of the reason as to why I am so negative about this product is because of the customer service. Twice I have contacted them for replacement parts that were still covered under warranty (one year from date of purchase), and the first time went rather smoothly, but the second- well, not so much. As mentioned, the first interaction with Classic Accessories went smooth- I obtained a RMA#, submitted the required paperwork, and photos. A few weeks later I received my replacement parts in the mail- no problem. Recently (4 months later), I had more parts fail so I contacted the customer service department and began the same process. They told me all of a sudden the parts are not in stock and that I would have to wait until a unit is returned before I could begin to see any parts. How ridiculous is that? Wasn't a problem the first time. Convenient how now that my warranty is almost up they "run out of parts".

Anyway, one of the pontoons is slowly leaking, not enough to leave me swimming, but still leaking. I use a pressure gage, much like for your tires, so I know I'm not over-inflating it. And I'm not about to begin the hassle of sending it back and waiting forever for a replacement. Welds have broken on the basket that mounts behind the seat, anchor cleats have broken, the cheap little plastic bushings that house the oar locks are ridiculous, and the oars themselves get eaten up by the oar locks- not to mention the rubber oar stops do anything but stop the oar.

Bottom line: you get what you pay for. Suck it up, spend the money, and get a well crafted, heavy (not one of those that fits in a backpack), made in USA pontoon- you'll wish you had later down the road. [...]

I've been dragging this thing around for at least five years. Mostly used for small inland lakes in Michigan. Nothing's broke. Seams have held up well.

I read every review of pontoon boats I could and finally decided on the Colorado. I'm glad I took the chance buying a less expensive boat and I'm very happy with what I got. I have looked at others since I've been using mine and nothing compares in this price range when it comes to storage and quality of craftsmanship.

The colorado pontoon boat is a top of the line product for a reasonable price. I live in oregon and have used the boat on rivers and lakes in my area and I was impressed with how durable and well made the product is.

My husband purchased this Classic Pontoon boat on July 17th 2010. And he loves it, after purchasing the boat we also purchased a trolling motor. And now he has now purchased a second classic pontoon one is in the orange and the other is in the green. we have a camp on the Bluestone so he uses them for Lake and on the New River in West Virginia. geat service. very Fast shipping by Amazon great service.

I bought this boat a month ago i paid $338.00 shipping and all dont know why it is higher now i dont know what these guys are talking about on the customer service my left pontoon doesnt leak but my right one would leak overnight some not too much i called classic accessories and the lady was very nice sent me another bladder free no charge didnt ask what happened if it was my fault or not sent it free no charge to me or shipping charges and my buddy has this same boat sent him free bladder also and his oar stop broke sent it free and incase my oarlock broke she sent me 2 free just if it broke good customer service is legit with warranty most company's are not like that one thing you have to get a better anchor the bag that comes with it to fill with rocks isnt enough to hold you on a lake with just a little wind so get a bigger one the pole holder is for a fly rod not a spinning so i took 2 1/2 inch pvc softened it over stove cut it at an angle and drilled 2 holes so i could use c-pin to lock it too pontoon to hold my spinning works good also for extra durability i used plasti-dip in a can it is a canned rubber sprayed it on bottom of pontoon for extra wear protection incase i scrape a sharp rock on river works good can find on hardware stores or just google it seat is very comfy alot of pockets best part of boat oars break down to carry easier and also if you heat up plastic valve air thing to allow you to pump it up heat it up take the closest size off hand pump adapter to fit in tube like i said hit it up force the adapter into plastic let it cool and you have a complete valve lol air filler upper so you dont have to use tape or someone else to hold it for you while you pump up pontoon this boat is a must have i feel you can take it on a class II river if you are careful good boat better than the more expensive ones and if you have a problem class acc will hook you up this is a must have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my Colorado 10ft pontoon boat back in July of 2005.In late 2007 the seams around the valves on the bladders started leaking air.I contacted Classic Accessories and they responded by sending out two brand new,complete bladder and skin assemblies at absolutely no cost to me.In 2010 one of the valve assemblies began to leak air from around the rubber seal.I called Classic,and once again they responded by sending out two replacement valves at no charge.The lady I talked to told me to call if I had anymore problems with the boat.I give them 5 stars for their customer service and quick response to my concerns with my boat.
I have taken this boat fishing from Nevada to California to Montana,and have never had a problem with it,other than those described above.It has proven itself to be sturdy and well constructed.I run it with a Minn Kota 35 Turbo 27 pound thrust trolling motor and it is easy to control and troll from.The last fish that I caught from it was a 6.93 pound walleye taken from Rye Patch Reservoir right here in Nevada while trolling a Berkley Gulp Power Night Crawler on a dual hook silver wedding ring.
This boat can go most anywhere you want to be.From small ponds to large lakes to slow moving rivers,this boat can get the job done.
