I bought this bag for my Sportster, I have a small rack on the fender to strap the bag to. The bag doesn't fit very well in this situation but I can make it work. It would fit much better on top of a passenger seat. Overall, for about $36 including shipping it's a good deal, very universal so you can make it work somehow. There was not much of a size description but it is about 11"W X 14"L X 7"D.

I purchased this for my Kawasaki Ninja 500. I use my motorcycle to commute to and from work about 48 weeks a year, and much prefer tailbags or luggage racks to a backpack. This bag is an excellent way to get small quantities of stuff (lunch, my day planner, miscellaneous $#!+ that I seem to always need) to and from work, and also has room for my gym stuff (shoes and workout clothes or judo uniform and belt, depending on which gym). Things that the picture doesn't show you that I also liked include that the part that rides against your rear end is smoothly reinforced with some sort of vinyl to make such a ride comfortably friction-free and that the bottom surface of the bag (that rides against your 'cycle seat) is made of some sort of tacky stuff that reduces its' sliding around on your bike seat by adding friction. The rain cover is another nice touch and I'm glad it's there. There are zippered compartments up each side, accessible from the outside, that are a nice idea but a bit small for much to fit in there - likely convenient for maps and the like - and there's a zipper pouch inside that I use for papers I want to keep track of. I ended up modifying the strapping system, which isn't a ding on the product and instead reflects my preferences for how I get things from here to there. As supplied, the bag comes with a strapping system that has 5 straps, 4 with sewn-in loops at one end (think dog leash) and adjustable plastic snap-style buckles at the other and one with adjustable buckles at both end. The buckles are standard plastic buckles with the male ends on the straps and female ends sewn to loops in the bag. You put the loops on the straps around a useful point on your bike, adjust them, and snap your bag onto the buckles.Read more ›

I ordered this bag yesterday while I was at work (~10:45AM) and I received it the NEXT day at ~4:45PM. I didn't even select 1 day shipping, talk about speed! But back to the review...

I just installed this bag on my 07 Suzuki SV650S. I noticed in a lot of reviews no one makes mention of WHAT kind of bike they have that this product fits on. So here's my review:

Packaging: The product came in a box surrounded by those air cushion things. Probably not necessary for a package of this type but hey, I appreciate the care with which Amazon sends stuff :)

Delivery speed: Incredible. I'm a prime customer so I have two-day shipping automatically but I got this in just shy of 36 hours after placing my order. I love Amazon!

Fit: I have a Suzuki 650 so it's the typical sports bike. The bag fits on the back passenger seat very well. I'll upload pictures to the product page if it'll let me, but I'll do my best to describe how I attached it.

The product comes with 5 straps; 1 long, 2 medium and 2 short. I used the 1 long and 2 medium straps to attach to my bike. I looped the long strap through a narrow gap underneath my seat between the fairings and hooked that on both sides on the front of the bag. (The front of the bag, I think, is the side that has the rubberized pocket where the rain cover is held). I then took the two medium straps and looped them around my bikes' engine hanger bracket (I think that's what it's called, I'm not entirely sure! It's the solid component that the passenger peg is a part of) and looped that back underneath the passenger sissy bar to the rear of the bag.

I bought this as an alternative to saddlebags that would be much more expensive. I works very well and looks quite good on my motorcycle. I has modest capacity, but more than enough for my license, registration, two pairs of gloves, sunglasses, wallet, cell phone, a reflective vest, a helmet lock and more stuff. You could easily fit a water bottle, maps etc. As you would expect, when on the bike it makes it a little harder to mount, because you have to throw your leg over it.

I bought this bag after many years of riding with nothing but a cargo net for storage. My biggest concern was finding something that had enough of a foot print to hold books/magazines. With riding many years without a tailbag I did not see the reason to spend $80 for something I was unsure would work for my purpose. Once I saw this tailbag I was a bit skeptical whether or not the bag was going to be large enough but with it costing less than $40 bucks, I was willing to give it a try. Once it arrived I was impressed with the construction. It has thick insulated panels that make up the overall shape of the bag and side pockets work well for sunglasses and gloves. The bag's inside dimensions are perfect for hauling books and magazines. The bag keeps it's shape whether loaded or not. The straps that came with the bag have rubber infused to keep the straps from moving or working loose. The bag takes some getting used to having not used one in the past. Mostly mounting and dismounting is where you notice it most. I have combated this by standing on the peg first before swinging a leg over.
To sum it up I would've paid $60 for it knowing what I know now about this bag.
