With its Class 1 river rating and a sturdy yet comfortable construction, the Cimarron 8-foot pontoon boat is perfect for your next river, pond, or lake adventure. The Cimarron is outfitted with a tough powder-coated steel tube frame, cold- and heat-resistant HD vinyl bladders, and abrasion-resistant PVC bottoms.

The boat includes a fabric rear storage platform behind the extra-tall backrest.

The construction makes the pontoon boat sturdy enough for early morning fishing trips, afternoon recreation, and everything in between. To help you get around, the boat includes a pair of 6-foot, two-piece aluminum oars that fit inside a set of heavy-duty steel oarlocks. At the same time, the boat doesn't skimp on comfort, with a padded seat that conforms to the body, adjustable footrests, and an extra tall backrest on the rigid metal seat frame. The backrest not only improves comfort, but it also provides ample rowing leverage.

The Cimarron also includes plenty of armrest storage, including large central pockets, two sloped gear pockets, and outside mesh pockets for small items or drinks. This was a great purchase. The directions were very simple to follow and it is not all that hard to assemble. I leave the frame together now and just hook up the pontoons and inflate them, it takes no time at all. If it had a down side it would be that it seems to sit a little low in the water but it makes it great for flippers so it works great for me. The side compartments are spacious. The oars are durable. I carry this boat from my truck to the water with no trouble, so weight is not a problem. This is a great boat for beginners!

This is a low priced boat, but it works fine if that is what you are after. It is lightweight, and easy to carry, held together with pins that are easy to remove if you want to break it down for carrying on a pack frame. My friend has a heavier boat - it is harder to paddle so he has an electric motor and battery (more weight). I catch just as many fish.

The spare parts for this boat are cheap, which is good because you will need lots of them.
In order to replace metal parts it is best if you do not get the boat wet because the metal parts rust together.
