Classic Train Songs,

This review is from: Classic American Train Songs (Audio CD)
Excellent performances of mostly contemporary train songs by bluegrass artists. Of special note is Bill Harrell's rendition of "The L&N Don't Stop Here Anymore" and The Seldom Scene's classic version of "The City of New Orlenas". Other notable tracks are Ricochet's "Greenville Trestle High" and A.L. Wood's "Story of the F.F.V." Highly recommended for both train nuts and bluegrass lovers (I am both!).

I bought this to listen to in the car - it is entertaining and is well recorded. This is a classic folk railroad music.
