Gordon has written a few books that cover a multitude of excellent techniques. However, 95% of the strokes rely on a few basic techniques, which are difficult to learn simply by reading the instructions. That is why this video is so helpful. It shows, rather than describes, those basic strokes. It shows a few techniques, too, which is nice but unnecessary, as Gordon writes about them in his books. Once you see the basic techniques, you can learn the rest easily from his books.

I agree that the "history lesson" at the beginning of the video is annoying and a waste of tape, but who cares? Buy this video to learn the basics of sensual massage.

I HIGHLY recommend buying this video as a companion to his books. I tried to read the books first, and was lost. Then I popped the tape into my VCR, and then the books made sense.

Unlike other massage videos, this one actually teaches you exactly what you need to do massage. You can see the correct rhythms and pressures here. The models are really spectacular. This is a sensual treat.

This is like one of the Inkeles books comming to life. Don't miss this video if you are into massage. Beautiful and poetic--and, yes, sexy in parts--it's exactly what you want in a massage video.

The title of this video validates its content as it is a well put together and does not waste time. I would recommend this video for anyone interested in massaging their partner. It has an introduction that made me subtract one star along with the fact that the footage seems old (based on the hairsyles of the actors/participants). However, the techniques are good.

Well organized, lovely to look at (nudity wtihout the clumsy lewdness that infects some massage videos) and comprehensive, this is a video to share with a loved one. It's more an experience, than a video presentation. The introductory material takes you through preparing a massage area from scratch (easy!), setting up some massage oil, relaxing your partner and providing soothing background stimulation like music and scent.

The massage itself is presented in great detail with real expertise. The people in the film are attractive and really do look like they are being massaged. You watch a real massage move over the Chest and Abdomen, Head, Arms, Hands, Front of the legs, Feet, Back of the Legs and Back. Individual strokes are shown and explained well. You really can follow along stroke by stroke, trying things as you watch. There's also lots of information about the body and the senses. The main emphasis throughout is on pleasure. You are encouraged to try what you see on the screen. There's also lots of information on the effects massage has on the body.

I would recommend this video without reservation to anyone who is interested in learning how to do a sensual massage.

Many happy hours with this tape. Music, motion, step-by-step instructions. You can't miss.

This is a very sensual (but not smutty) video with truely experienced massage instruction. You end up recreating the sensual moods shown in the video--and often surprising your massage partner. The techniques are much easier to learn "in motion" than from a book with static pictures. The massage has many uses from pure relaxation to sex enhancement and even therapy.

Really fun. Be ready to be thanked lavishly after you give your first massage.

I liked the way this video guides you all the way through a complete massage, showing specific strokes to use for every part of the body. I also appreciated the tips on preparing for massage, which can be tricky in a limited space environment. I live on a boat and I'm happy to say, massage is now "on board" and much appreciated. Quite of few of the massage strokes in this lovely video can be used on more than one part of the body, another plus.

Overall, I think this is a highly beneficial tape, well put together, and memorable indeed. I never expected to get compliments on my massage technique...but there it is!

Got this lovely little video for the holidays and it has already added much joy to my life. Massage is not that hard to do well, perhaps BETTER than a professional, if you are massaging a lover. As pointed out by others, here are the step-by-step instructions you will need delivered in the most delightful and fun manner. I recommend "The Art of Sensual Massage" (book) which has much the same massage techniques explained and illustrated. Using the two together you too will be up an massaging before you know it. If you've wondered what to do for your romantic partner that will truly show your affection--trust me, this is an unforgettable romantic gift.
