The Classic CS257 has an AM/FM stereo tuner, CD player, and cassette deck. It features a palm-size remote control, and its single-disc CD player lets you program up to 20 tracks.

The CS257 offers a tone control, has an LED track display, and comes with two full-range speakers. Its front-positioned single cassette deck has auto-stop functionality.

Compact and value priced, this boombox has a built-in headphone jack (headphones not supplied). It uses a line cord and also runs on eight C batteries (not included). Classic provides a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.

I bought this boom box for the price but I did expect what features it has to work ok. Well I am very disappointed to say the least. The minute I got it I hooked it up and it just sounds terrible. I put in a brandnew cd and turned the volume up about 1/2 way and the volume cuts in and out. On the tape mode it doesnt do it. I would also like to point out that the FM stereo reception is terrible. I pulled in more stations on my cheap walkman. In the future I will go with a brand I know and stay away from the real cheap stuff. I just hope I can help atleast one other person in the buying decision of this thing. It looks and the description sounds great but it's a headache in a box.

i dont know what that other guy is talking about but i think this is a great little boombox! the remote control (though it doesnt have volume control on it) works from almost any angle, and is not big or bulky. it is dual powered, and has a detatchable cord to plug into an outlet. when running on batteries, however, it cannot use the CD function. I was let down by that alittle, but for only $.., it great!!!!!
