The spirit of the 19th century
This book is just a delightful pedagogy, and a voyage in what was probably the nicest in the spirit of music in the middle of the 19th century.

good,but doesn't explain anything
It has plenty of vocal exercises,but it doesn't explain how to do them.
The book "Bel Canto: A Theoretical and Practical Vocal Method"is the better of the two.It explains about the voice and how it works.It also tells you how to do the exercises.
If you just want exercises,this is a good buy.If you want to know how to do the...

It has plenty of vocal exercises,but it doesn't explain how to do them.
The book "Bel Canto: A Theoretical and Practical Vocal Method"is the better of the two.It explains about the voice and how it works.It also tells you how to do the exercises.
If you just want exercises,this is a good buy.If you want to know how to do the exercises,look else where.

My wish for you is that you will feel the urge to excel, that you will be on guard against rivalry, and that very soon you will give me the great joy of applauding you".
