This is a pretty good collection for the Mickey beginner. I wouldn't purchase it however if you already have the Walt Disney Treasures "Mickey Mouse in Living Color" series because all the shorts are on those DVDs as well.

It's like Disney doesn't care about their hero, Mickey Mouse. I mean, shouldn't a Mickey video really be about MICKEY? Donald Duck, Goofy, And Pluto are really the stars in the cartoons that the Disney Studio picked for this DVD. Mickey almost gets nothing to do!!

"Mickey's Circus" is mostly about Donald.
"Hawaiian Holiday" is mostly about Goofy and Pluto and Mickey only appears for a few Moments!
"Moving Day" is mostly about Goofy.
"Orphan's Picnic," is mostly about Donald.
Mickey is the star in the other three cartoons but that's still not good, he's the star for less than half of his own DVD!!

One of my friends has the Walt Disney Treasure Mickey DVD and it has lots and lots of cartoons where Mickey is really the star. Why aren't some of those on This DVD, is what I want to know?

Unlike my fellow reviewers, my five-year-old and I think this DVD is great. "Hawaiian Holiday" was playing (over and over again) on Disney World TV when we were at the Wilderness Lodge Resort and we've been hooked ever since. No, it is not as complete as the Disney Treasues, but they are nice additions to our collection.

I wasn't sure how my 2 yr old daughter would like it, since she is used to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD's, but she loves these just as much...her eyes are glued to the screen!

Purchased for Grandson (7 years old)...so he could watch before we went to Disney World. Not all the young ones know Mickey, Goofy and the gang...so this really got him ready for the Disney trip.

I watched these in the 1940s on 8mm home movies, silent versions. Donald Duck should also get a billing along with Mickey Mouse. They are still good with sound and color. They are timeless in the story lines and character's personalities. I was so happy to find them still available.

This is Mickey Mouse we are talking about! Not everyone has the Treasures, so this is great for those who do not have the color treasures (me). I have the most common of Mickey Treasures, Mickey Mouse in Black and White, Volume Two. This DVD could of had 2 or 3 more shorts, but this is a great viewing of Mickey's work. I bought this title for my two and half year old son. Previously I had bought the Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas DVD and he loved Mickey mouse. This title is great for young children as there is nothing offensive they might see in maybe some other older cartoons, aside from Goofy feeding fish tobacco. My son loves his dvd and often will choose it over other new animations that we own. This is likely not the best DVD for collectors or adults wanting to get their Mickey fix. Otherwise this is a nice family dvd with a family price.

My grandson loves it. He watches it over and over. The DVD was in great shape and I feel I really got a bargin.

We bought this for my son when he was 3 and he loves it. He became a huge fan of all the older Disney cartoons, he prefers them over the newer ones. He's now 4 and has acquired the entire collection and watches them all more than any other movies we have. These were the first cartoons I ever heard my son laughing out loud at. Me and my husband have also enjoyed them.
