This is the most clearly written and easily used Chinese cookbook for American use I own. The basic techniques section is great to know for use with any Chinese cooking and make the recipes easy to follow. Once you master the basic skills fine tuning the recipes to your individual taste is easy. This book is so great I have completely worn my copy out.

I have owned this book sine 1985 it is by far the best and easiest to use book of its kind. If the book were still available I would by additional copies for gifts.

From someone who actually took classes from Anna. Her recipes are easy to follow and come out exactly as you would expect. Making it yourself is so much better than 90% of "american chinese resturants". Its an easy meal once your food is prepped to cook it.. YUM!!
