I bought this for a dear Johnny Cash "nut" in my life, one of my blind students, and he LOVES this. This kid knows everything there is to know about Mr. Cash, and for him this was a treasure. The seller shipped quickly (thank you so much!) and did a great job.

I picked this holiday album up thinking I'd get a Christmas album with a Johnny Cash sound. If you think you'd appreciate Cash's definitive voice backed with lush orchestral accompynanment, then this release will be very satisfying. Released in 1980, Christmas Classic covers the standard favorites and an off the wall offering, Little Gray Donkey. Cash stumbles at times through this narrative offering. My favorite cut on the album is It Came Upon The Midnight Clear. If you want to pick up a good holiday record, try Jerry Jeff Walker's Christmas release.
