Don't waste your money!,
By Alan Nelson (Arvada, Colorado) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Classic Rock Climbs No. 17 Golden Cliffs, Colorado (Paperback)
The author's "research" consists of copying previous guides to the area and transfering topos onto bad photos. Unfortunately, the result is incomplete, inaccurate, and incoherent. As best as can be determined, no effort was made to talk to any of the route authors for this area. You're better off going to the cliff and asking other climbers for directions, recommendations, route names, and grades.

Best Available book on Golden Cliffs,
This review is from: Classic Rock Climbs No. 17 Golden Cliffs, Colorado (Paperback)
I have used Golden Cliffs for ten years and it is the best available book for the Golden Cliffs (AKA North Tabletop). Photos and diagrams can be difficult to match to rock formations, but ask any experienced climber at the Cliffs where a route is located to orientate yourself. Numerous copies in climbers hands at the Cliffs and being used. Easy to hang top rope routes. Most routes also bolted for Sport climbing; ,most can use pro for Trad climbing. Low price book, numerous photos and diagrams; so if you can find a better reference (and you won't) --buy it.
