Classic Country 80's
All the best songs from the early 80's. I bought this cd for my retired father. He will love that this cd has his favorites: Dolly Parton, George Jones and The Statler Brothers! I'm thirty something and this cd brings back a lot of memories for me also. Even though I don't listen to country music now, who can reisit the appeal of these classics?

Good Songs
Even though there are some really wonderful songs on this CD, there are also some that I do not care for; therefore, I only gave the CD 3 stars. This CD has various songs by various singers. Some of the really good songs on this CD are: "That's the Way Love Goes" by Merle Haggard, "Good Ol' Boys" by Waylon Jennngs, "All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down", by Hank...

Classic Country 80's, December 12, 2004
All the best songs from the early 80's. I bought this cd for my retired father. He will love that this cd has his favorites: Dolly Parton, George Jones and The Statler Brothers! Good Songs, August 13, 2008

Even though there are some really wonderful songs on this CD, there are also some that I do not care for; therefore, I only gave the CD 3 stars. This CD has various songs by various singers. Some of the really good songs on this CD are: "That's the Way Love Goes" by Merle Haggard, "Good Ol' Boys" by Waylon Jennngs, "All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down", by Hank Williams, Jr., "Lookin' for Love" by Johnny Lee, and "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool" by Barbara Mandrell. If all the songs were this good, I would have given the CD 5 Stars.
