I purchased this hot water bottle because I get ridiculously cold feet at night and you're not supposed to sleep with a heating pad turned on. This hot water bottle is amazing! The first night I filled with boiling water (what did I know?) and the sheets were scorching because the heat is so efficiently transferred through the bottle. Other than my mistake with the water temp I'm so impressed with this item. The material is soft and pliable; the baby even teethed on it for few days. Even though the bottle isn't insulated the water stays warm into the morning. (The heat must be held in by my comforter.) It made for exceptionally cozy sleeping, I can't even tell you. This would be awesome for a back ache. I'm a total convert.

When I was in Botswana they had placed hot water bottles in our bed for turn down service and I was inspired to do the same for myself upon my return home. So I found this brand and ordered it, AMAZING. No Joke.

This is an excellent hot water bottle. I was hesitant to pay the steeper price, but am so glad I did. When it arrived it smelled faintly plastic-y, but that faded after a few days and is now imperceptible. I like the traditional red. The cap screws in tightly and stays secure. The bottle itself is thicker than others I've seen, so is very sturdy, but transfers heat very well. This is perfect for aches or sleeping in a colder house. I fill it at night and it's still warm in the morning. I've used mine well over a year and it's good as new, never leaked or anything. I would urge you to purchase this rather than a cheaper alternative, as I've found that they leak. This is a great product.

Very nice product. Heavy duty thickness seems to take a little while for the heat to conduct through, but after a couple of minutes is good.

I am a hot water bottle addict. As one who has cold feet pretty much all the time, I must have two things: Ugg boots around the house and a hot water bottle at the end of the bed at night. I have an old bottle made by the same company- it has served me well and has been a reliable friend, but two things that have always slightly annoyed me are the smell (rubber) and the opening at the neck (too small and the metal lining makes water splash back out when it it being filled.) But NO MORE! The new-fangled version is made of an odourless plastic with a big wide neck which is much easier to fill. And it comes in such festive colours! AND it even seems to transmit heat better than the old rubber ones. Well done Fashy! If you are a hot water bottle aficionado, you must have one of these. If you have never used a hot water bottle and you are a person who hates climbing into a cold bed you must try one. You will not regret it. Much more ecologically friendly that an electric blanket!

I absolutely love this water bottle. It is very good quality. The rubber is soft and conforms nicely. I am going to purchase another for a spare.

This is the worse hot water bottle product I've ever had. I was excited when I found out the product was made in Germany, but was extremely disappointed when I received the product the mail. The bottle was thin with the same textured pattern on both sides (front and back) of the bottle. Usually good hot water bottles have a ribbed surface and a smoother side. When i filled the bottle up with hot water, the bottle had a strong smell like the plastic from blow up pools. This smell DID NOT GO AWAY and I had to wrap the bottle up in a towel so that the odor didn't bother me as much. Another thing that I noticed was that when the bottle was filled with hot water, the plastic of the bottle left a RESIDUE on my hands where I touched it - I'm not sure what was going on there. At first I didn't think it was coming from the bottle and I kept washing my hands until I noticed that every time I touched the bottle, I had a waxy residue on it. The third thing I noticed was that the cap was fairly wide and shallow. The threading on other bottles that I've had were about 1 inch long. The cap for this made in Germany product was maybe a little over HALF an inch long (not a very secure length when you're filling something with hot water and don't want it spilling anywhere). I don't know why these bottles has such high ratings for their low quality, bad smell, and defectiveness. My advise to anyone is stay away from these!!!
