I got this as a present for my mom, who is 83 and has trouble reading small print. The crossword clues and puzzles are great, in the tradition of TCM, but just a warning that the clue print is very small, and so are the spaces to write in the letters. My mom had a very difficult time even reading it, so I photocopied the pages larger for her, and that helped. I recommend that TCM consider making this a much larger sized book, with larger print and letter spaces. After all, it will be the "classic" people who will be most apt to enjoy classic movie crosswords!

I had high hopes for this crossword collection, but they were crushed by poorly constructed puzzles (many words with just one or two intersections), two-letter answers, very poor design (spaces too small, AND the solution puzzles are practically illegible). Very disappointed.

The type size for the clues should have been made larger, and the lack of crossing words (like in a standard newspaper crossword) left me high and dry when I got stuck on a word. Frustrating.

Obscure clues, two letter answers that are inserted for no purpose whatsoever (don't intersect with other clues) and where more intersecting letters would be beneficial to deciphering a clue - you get nothing. This is the worst excuse for a crossword puzzle I've ever encountered. SAVE YOUR MONEY! I'm throwing mine in the trash - with only 6 of the 80 done.

The book is a nice idea but the puzzles themselves are too easy for my husband and me. We expected something more challenging and we lost interest after completing three puzzles in only a few minutes. If the authors create a new edition, I suggest the book offer puzzles at different levels from easy through difficult.

Although some clues are challenging enough, be warned: it is not in a true crossword format, i.e, lots of stand-alone words. Not for someone who likes the NYT puzzles....

I gave this as a gift to my dad who is into crosswords and all of the "lame/corney" old movies. He loves it!

This book is itself a "classic"! A great gift item for friends who sharee your interests in classic movies. I paticularly am enjoying the theme puzzles and know you will too.

What can I say about This TCM Crossword
book? Simply this, I love it. What a wonderful
way to spend a lazy afternoon. This crossword
book is fun and challenging at the same time.
Buy one you won't be disappointed.
