This CD is one of my favorite CDs and I listen to it all the time!

I first heard Cynthia Koledo de Almeida play in a Masters Class at The Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, CA. I went to this class with my granddaughter - age 12 (you never know what the right exposure will do to someone) - a relative beginner on the obeo and from Columbus, Ohio. I gave us 15 minutes maximum, but instead, she became mesmorized by de Almeida. She learned so many hints from her in that 2 hours and so I decided to buy this CD - one for myself and one for my granddaught. Who would have thought I would fall in love with oboe music, but this CD can't help but make you appreciate it and enjoy it.

5 stars! The star thing isn't working! I bought both her albums [Mist Over the Lake too] and I enjoyed this one more - even though she played equally well on both albums. I liked these choices better.
My girlfriend Amanda - who is already a huge fan - and always sat in the first row when Cynthia played solos in PGH - suggested we get her albums. Great choice because she has enriched our day! We look forward to listening to them again real soon! Maybe even tomorrow!
