I felt compelled to review this, because unlike two of the other reviewers, I LIKE that there is no indication to "turn the page." The book is good, but the audio CD is even better. My son got one of these (actually slightly different, it has the "Nemo" story on it and one other that is different) for his 3rd birthday, and wants to listen to it EVERY night while he is falling asleep. I was looking on amazon to buy another one (with different stories). The woman's voice who is the narrator is very pleasant. I think it would be very annoying if there was a "beep" or "turn the page" indicator on the CD, especially for those children, like my son, who like to listen to it as a bedtime story.

I expect a lot out of anything with a Disney association, and in many ways this does not disappoint. However, I believe it has a fatal flaw that makes it less child-friendly. I love to read with my children, but I view these read-alongs as a good alternative so our young children (3 & 5) can "read" a book on their own. However, none of these stories include cues to let a child know when to turn the page! This leaves them guessing and was a severe disappointment for all of us.

This is a wonderful book that your kids will love to read and also hear. The CD that comes with the book has the full text, read and animated beautifully - the way the kids love to hear. The pictures and the quality of the pages are marvelous. The book is not too big nor too small. I suppose this is the right size for a kid's book, with 128 pages. The previous Disney Storybook collection books (e.g., Disney's Princess Storybook Collection: Love and Friendship Stories (306 pages); Disney's Storybook Collection (320 pages); Disney's Princess Treasury 576 pages)) are too big in size for a kid. The price tag for this book+CD is amazingly reasonable.

I have bought all of the CD Storybooks and they have all been well worth the money. I will continue to buy them as they become available. However the one thing that I wish they would get back to is having the stories read by the actual characters themselves. The first Winnie the Pook storybook and the storybook with Bugs Life, Monsters Inc and Toys Story 1 & 2 all were read with the voices of the actual characters. It was great! Then when I bought the new ones it's a womans voice for every character and the narrator. Guess we are just spoiled. It's still worth the money and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a little peace and quiet in the car! tee hee

Disappointed that my preschooler will not be able to use this for years. Without cues to turn the page she cannot read it independently.

The product is described as a "CD Storybook." That means that it is a story read aloud by a narrator. This is different than the Disney "Read Along With Me" books which have a chime telling the child to turn the page to encourage them to follow along.

This CD is great for the car or at bedtime. It has little songs, as well as the stories. My 5-year-old daughter loves this cd and book. She has listened to it so much that I thought I should get her a few others in the series. Usually, she just listens to the CD, but we also read the book alone, from time to time. I have also observed her following along with the book a few times. She looks at the pictures and turns the page when she thinks it's time.

I highly recommend this set, but if you are looking for something that will tell kids when to turn the page, this is not it.

While my kids enjoy listening to the stories that they know so well, they get bored easily since with the voice never changing. They don't use the various character voices in telling the story as they do in other disney CDs that we have. The songs and poems that are on the CD sound silly even to my kids who always ask me to skip those--they should have used a song from the movie if they wanted to include music on the CD. I'd recommend the Disney read-along CDs over this as those use character voices and are more interesting/dramatic to listen to.

This product was used but rated very good. It delivered as far as the book was concerned but with a product description of very good I expect the Cd to be included with the Cd storybook as advertised.

The seller did not specify in the title that the CD is not included in the book. Additionally, the book was listed under the subject: Books with CD's!!!!!!!

This product came without the CD and the pages were torn. Some of the pages were taped back together. It's condition was described as good. I would call it's condition poor, at best. When I contacted the shipper they did offer to refund me with shipping both ways. They told me it was sold without the CD. However, nowhere in the description did it say no CD was included. I wouldn't buy another thing from them.
