So there I was cleaning out my parent's basement, and I found my old Etch-A-Sketch. To my dismay, the thing was still 100% operational. It took me back quite some years. I then decided to go and purchase one of the newer models. They make them the same way they did back in the early 80's. My point is that this would make a great gift for any child who has an imagination. With this tool the inner child never dies! Moms, this is a must have for any collection. You know I'm talking about the toy box.

Does it really get much better or simpler than an Etch-a-Sketch? Originally made here in Ohio, now in China! Yikes! Can't we keep ANYTHING here? Editorialization aside, this has always been such a great toy and it is no different in our house. This provides tons of entertainment in a grocery cart (the travel size one), as well as in the car. It took my little one seconds to learn how to make stairsteps the first time. If you're looking for a toy to increase manual dexterity, then this is your guy! Highly recommend!
