About the Author

Growing up near the magnificent Scioto Country Club, Christopher R. Obetz was destined to incorporate golf into his life. His father, Robin, was the childhood best friend and college teammate of Jack Nicklaus. He is the author of Classic Golf Instruction and 100 Classic Golf Tips, and is also a painter. Nancy Lopez has been among the most celebrated players on the LPGA tour since her rookie year in 1978. She was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1987, and is also a photographer and multimedia artist.

The terrific aspect of this collection is that all the very best tips a person will ever hear are brought together in a way that allows you to read and absorb, with credit to the person who originally made the discovery of this golfing secret. The first time I read through the book, it took me a few days, as I was bending down page corners and taking time out to reflect and try the advice. Then I returned to the marked pages and saw that I had created a golf swing review for myself and a game playing plan. What fun! These universal tips work for men as well as women, but it is nice to elevate the status of some great ladies' teaching pros.
