Very good quality, the leather is great - especially for the price. I purchased the dark brown one and it's very good quality. It's well worn now and supple, but still every bit as attractive as when I first purchased it. It's been on countless trips, plane rides, trains, jostled around in luggage, packed into boxes, tossed about in the car, on wilderness trips so in the dirt and moisture and it's held up with all of it!

I've etched mine to personalize it and the leather holds the inks and carvings perfectly!

I can't wait until they have it back in stock so I can order a replacement - please hurry!

I have used several journals, but these are the best ones I have found. They are beautiful to handle, nice to look at on my shelf and they are easy to use and write in. I find the ink flows freely on the pages and they lay flat which is a real treat when writting in them.

For the price, this is a great Leather Journal!
The Leather is sturdy, exceptionally so and will age well. In comparison to other journals offered here & in stores, it is a great deal for the price. Especially considering the size of the pages.. more comfortable to write in than the smaller ones and i like that there are so many pages. Fancy paper is all good but the fact that you can actually get more use out of this one is a huge plus!
I bought the brown and the color is great -- not too dark, not too light.
I purchased it to use for my newborn daughter's journal; and am confident it will last through the years as I record the little details of her growth for her to have when she's older. I'm pretty sure I'll order another for a journal for myself even though I'm generally a moleskin-fanatic, sometimes you need something beautiful to inspire you to special moments on the page!

the book's quality seems very good. i will see about durability as it gets used.

i would have enjoyed a more distressed (not so new looking) feel to it though.

i would buy another and i do think it would make a nice gift.

ordered in august, wanted to give it some use before posting a review. this is a great quality journal, the price is a bonus. nice thick pages (UNlined) that dont bleed through, quality leather, durable construction. median size, not huge or tiny. very happy with this purchase.

It's exactly as I wanted it! Very beautifully made and oh so amazing! The leather is great and has a great smell too. I plan to record all my film ideas and share them with my fellow team members!

I was just wondering if the pages have lines? It looks like a really nice and durable journal but I need lines to write neatly.

I just love it, to be honest I got it as a gift and couldn't part with it. I had to get another one to give a way!
