Arrested Development was a good hip hop group in the middle 90's. They were about Peace and Freedom, and spoke their minds. On this disc you get the best of Arrested Development (In my opinion) Their biggest tracks start off the disc, then get worse as it goes on. The CD is digitally remastered. Arrested Development has never sounded better. I give it three stars because it's an average CD. It's the best of Arrested Development, which can only pull off an average grade. My top 5 tracks: Mr. Wendal

I am a bit disappointed that "Everyday People" was not the song that I remembered listened to. It was a remix that I never heard of. It sounded more like a weak rap song, although it has a good message. The version I remembered was far different than the one that is on the CD. But the CD is good. Right next to A Tribe Called Quest and Public Enemy, they sent out the message that needed to be heard to uplift the African-American community. The state of hip-hop at this point is more about bling and devaluing one another for the almighty dollar. Not to say that you should stop listening to hip-hop because it sends a message to those that listen to it. Arrested Development came at the right time to give a sense of pride and commitment to each other to build strong community ties.
