There are tonnes of Culture Club comps, but this is the only one I know with his solo material. Most people assume it's all one in the same, thinking he was CC, even though he couldn't always match the same success on his own, like many standout frontmen who did the same thing. "Everything I Own" and "The Crying Game", his non-CC benchmarks, often appear on those group releases. I saw this at the store once, but couldn't afford it, but I now have these tracks on the studio albums and such. For those getting started in his non-Club work.

i was so glad to get a hold of this compilation of one of the most underrated song writers of the 20th century. This mix of Boy George solo hits remastered is a great addition to my collection of Boy George and Culture Club cd's that can't be found on other cd's. "Life my life" is remixed ok...but the haunting song "if i could fly" and the great soulful remake of "what becomes of a broken hearted" are Boy George's voice at perfection. Perfect mix for any Boy George fan or for anyone you think might love this cd!

I bought this mainly to finally have "Live My Life". I was so disappointed in that it was a remix (and not a good one at that) and not the original single. Althought this collection exposed me to some tunes I liked such as "Funtime" and George's cover of "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted", this was a needless collection. I soon sold it.

I found this cd listing purely by accident - need I say more? Oh, alright: future landfill. Thanks for helping us all cut down on our consumption, Georgie.
