CORNEILUS BROTHERS & SISTER ROSE ARE A FINE VOCAL GROUP OF THE 70"S. THE "TEMPS", "O'JAYS" AND "J-5", OVERSHADOWED THIS GROUP. HOWEVER, THEY STILL MADE IT TO #1 ON THE POP CHARTS WITH: "TOO LATE TO TURN BACK NOW" MY FAVORITE WAS; "DON'T EVER BE LONLEY (POOR LITTLE FOOL LIKE ME). TREAT THIS COLLECTION LIKE...IT'S A HIT!!

I bought the Cornelius Bros.& Sister Rose first album on vinyl back in 1972. It was one of the few albums produced that didn't have a bad cut on it. The majority of the songs on this CD were on that album, but it just makes me miss the first album all the more. Why hasn't Rhino or someone else picked up on this group and re-released the first album on CD?

I was only 7 years old in 1972 when CB&SR were in their short lived hey-day. But even at 7 years old the sounds of R&B and Edward's voice was the icing on the cake for my love for great soul music along with Stevie Wonder, The O-jays and many more. Having this CD in my collection now not only brings back great memories but makes me appreciate the soulful sound and great lyrics written by the Cornelious Brothers. I only wish they were still going. I recamend getting this collection it is truly a great album and edwards voice is one of a kind even for a 7 year old kid in 1972.

"Too Late to Turn Back Now" is difficult to find. Get this CD now!

This CD is a good addition to your 70s Soul collection if you also like The O'Jays, Spinners, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Isley Brothers and/or The Main Ingredient, Four Tops, The Dramatics and any other of those wonderful Soul bands that ruled the "classic" Philly and Motown sound.

Graduating High School in 1974 makes Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose special to me, I could find there big hits but for true fans you remember the whole album, I loved I"m so Glad and it was only available thru amazon, I am so grateful, I would hate for these great songs to be lost over time. Keep up the great Job

Took me back to my teen years of the early 70's. Don't get to hear these too often on the radio so I went in search of ownership. Got it ... love it.

Back in the day my boyfriend (whom I'll NEVER forget) had the radio station plays It's too Late to Turn Back Now for me and called me on the phone to hear it!!!!! He said it is sooo him concerning US. I will never forget it and will always hold this song close to my heart!!!

These guys are great. all of the wonderful songs we grew up with in the Motown era and still as good today. I highly recommend this group and this CD.

Hearing Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose took me back to the early 70's. I had their 8 track tape and loved it. I purchased the CD and it's wonderful listening to their music again! This is a must have album if you want to take a trip back to the 70's!!!
