I fell in love with Michael Johnson's music in 1979 when I saw him in concert. This CD is the best of his music. Its a great CD if you want to hear the songs that made him famous.

There's nobody quite like him. This is a great mix of Michael's songs and unique sound. I thought I had about everything he had ever recorded, but a couple songs on this CD are new to me.

I have been waiting for the release of this CD for quite a long time. The mellow sound of Michael Johnson is most welcome after a day's of hard working, the missing of "25 words or less" is a pity. Capitol is not generous as it only gave us 12 songs in this CD, so 3 stars is all it worths. How on earth can there be a CD which can hold 80 minutes of music and the record companies only gave you one third. Shame to the record industry.

Michael Johnson first topped the pop charts in the late 70s. His biggest hits were "Bluer Than Blue" and "This Night Won't Last Forever". His albums were great but are only available on imports and are very hard to locate. Even the Classic Masters CD is very difficult to obtain a copy. The recording quality of his songs is very high and can be appreciated when listening to high end audio equipment. The Classic Masters Disc captures his greatest hits and several album cuts. Excellent disc if you can find a copy. It is also recorded very well.
