They are very comfortable and fit well.

There are many other brands out there that are much more expensive, but I'd highly recommend saving your money and buying these.

They're well padded, don't chaff with extended use, and are comfortable for short or long bike rides.

These bike shorts greatly reduce discomfort while riding. They are machine wash and dry (although I'll air dry them to keep them longer). They fit well, the padding in very comfortable and they don't have any obnoxious designs or logos all over them. The price is amazing - similar shorts at my local bike store cost around $75.

And for those reviews I have read that complain about too much padding extending up front making it look awkward while you walk around, I have to say my "friends" up front are more than happy to have a little extra padding up there. I am less concerned about how suave I look walking around in them (you're wearing BIKE SHORTS! please don't hang out on the weekends in public with these on) and more concerned for overall comfort while riding. These accomplish their purpose very well.

I've been road cycling for 15 years and have bought/worn shorts from Pearl Izumi, Canari, Voler, etc. The material on these is a bit thinner and they probably won't last as long other brands that cost twice as much, but in hot weather they are more comfortable and breath better than the competition. Despite what one reviewer said, I found the padding to actually be *thinner* than other brands.

I bought two pair to try them out and was so happy with them that I bought more.cyc

Take this review with a grain of salt... I only wear these for 50 min spin classes. That being said, they are great. Good fit, comfortable, padding doesn't feel too diaperish... I only wish they were slightly lower cut and weren't so long.

I like these shorts much better than the Pro version (I don't like that sticky band that goes around the lower leg).

Aero Tech Designs has good customer service too. I exchanged for a larger size without even asking them first (I just shipped the shorts with a note in the box), and I received the exchange a couple of weeks later.

On the plus side, these shorts are reasonably priced.

On the negative side, the padding is so thick and extends so far in the front that I feel like I am wearing a diaper when I am walking in them. But, to be fair, you don't buy them to walk in. They are adequately comfortable on the bike for short rides (less than 20 miles). I haven't taken them on longer rides yet because there hasn't been nice enough weather yet this year but it feels like there might be some chaffing near the front of the pad. I don't think the thick pad provides any additional comfort over shorts with a conventional chamois. Since I have only riden in cool weather, I can't comment on how well they will wick away moisture.

I would recommend these shorts to those who are getting their first biking shorts and don't expect to do more than short rides.

These bike shorts are awesome. I first ordered the Pearl iZUMi Men's Quest Cycling Short which seems to be a super popular bike short on here. They were ok but had a couple design flaws for me. They dug into my waist and the chamois was ridiculously wide making it scrunch up and pinch whenever I moved.

Then I found these shorts and couldn't be happier. The material is super comfortable, even more well fitted than the Quest shorts. The waist band is build better and less abrasive. And most importantly, you can see the chamois doesn't flare out widely in the front like the Quest shorts making these much more comfortable. I have no idea why you would need the very front of the chamois to flare out in the front. You'd have to be sitting horribly wrong to need padding in the front of your junk. The Quest chamois is slightly thicker, but the one in here is pretty well padded too.

I was also pleasantly surprised to find out Aero Tech Designs is an American company and the pants are made in the US and the quality shoes while still very competitively priced.

I'm a recreational biker, so that extra bit of cushion really makes a difference. I was a little concerned about one reviewer's observation that it was like trying to walk around wearing a bulky diaper. I haven't found that to be a problem. I typically ride to run my light errands, and no one notices I have that extra padding (except me when I hop back on the bike.) I would recommend these shorts.

very comfortable, no chafing, plenty of padding in the right places.

I rode with it in the rain recently( I know I know, that's stupid) and it retained it shape and comfort even being wet.

great price too!

this bike shorts are great, with plenty of padding to protect you from the seat. I just don't give it a 5 start because they could be a little longer.
