Fit great, low cost, protects well - use when cycling, not for hanging out,

These bike shorts greatly reduce discomfort while riding. They are machine wash and dry (although I'll air dry them to keep them longer). They fit well, the padding in very comfortable and they don't have any obnoxious designs or logos all over them. The price is amazing - similar shorts at my local bike store cost around $75.
And for those reviews I have read that complain about too much padding extending up front making it look awkward while you walk around, I have to say my "friends" up front are more than happy to have a little extra padding up there. I am less concerned about how suave I look walking around in them (you're wearing BIKE SHORTS! please don't hang out on the weekends in public with these on) and more concerned for overall comfort while riding. These accomplish their purpose very well.

Take this review with a grain of salt... I only wear these for 50 min spin classes. That being said, they are great. Good fit, comfortable, padding doesn't feel too diaperish... I only wish they were slightly lower cut and weren't so long.
I like these shorts much better than the Pro version (I don't like that sticky band that goes around the lower leg). Aero Tech Designs has good customer service too. I exchanged for a larger size without even asking them first (I just shipped the shorts with a note in the box), and I received the exchange a couple of weeks later.

I've been road cycling for 15 years and have bought/worn shorts from Pearl Izumi, Canari, Voler, etc. The material on these is a bit thinner and they probably won't last as long other brands that cost twice as much, but in hot weather they are more comfortable and breath better than the competition. Despite what one reviewer said, I found the padding to actually be *thinner* than other brands.
I bought two pair to try them out and was so happy with them that I bought more.cyc

On the plus side, these shorts are reasonably priced.
On the negative side, the padding is so thick and extends so far in the front that I feel like I am wearing a diaper when I am walking in them. But, to be fair, you don't buy them to walk in. They are adequately comfortable on the bike for short rides (less than 20 miles). I haven't taken them on longer rides yet because there hasn't been nice enough weather yet this year but it feels like there might be some chaffing near the front of the pad. I don't think the thick pad provides any additional comfort over shorts with a conventional chamois. Since I have only riden in cool weather, I can't comment on how well they will wick away moisture. I would recommend these shorts to those who are getting their first biking shorts and don't expect to do more than short rides.

These are great for my spinning classes.
They feel exactly like the $60 name brand pants I have. I highly recommend these shorts.

Out of the box I was surprised at the quality of these shorts for the price. As a pedi-cab driver, I've worn them for a 16 hour day, as well as many 5-6 hour shifts and I've found them to be very comfortable. (note that my behind might be a bit more calloused then average) I've had them for about a month now and they seem to be holding up well.

very comfortable, no chafing, plenty of padding in the right places.
I rode with it in the rain recently( I know I know, that's stupid) and it retained it shape and comfort even being wet. great price too!

Just took these out on a 40+ mile bike. They were great - very comfortable and perfect for the ride. Great budget biking shorts.

These shorts are a great value. The quality of material, fit, and feel are on a par with more expensive products. The only drawback is the chamois, which is a gel-like center strip with two fiber wing strips. The good news is that it is not bulky and is reasonably comfortable in terms of sit-bone padding and friction. I don't like bulky, heavily padded shorts but, while these are comfortable, they get a little thin on rides over 90 minutes or so (I am on an unpadded, very firm saddle). Therefore, I recommend these for quick rides/spin classes and will wear shorts with better pads on my longer treks. Great for the price and application. Check out the Pearl Izumi Quest for a better pad at just a little more money.

this bike shorts are great, with plenty of padding to protect you from the seat. I just don't give it a 5 start because they could be a little longer.
