I got this cooktop for our vacation home, we remodel the kitchen out there and since there was 0 reviews I desided to take a chance...Bad desition, we installed the unit, made some pancakes and one of the burners died. I called the store (not amazon) and they told me to contact the manufacturer, who said it has to be ME because their product was good, and they asked to talk to my electrician, I had to pay our electrician to double check the instalation then I was asked to take it out from my countertop and ship it to them (of course I had to pay a professional to do that, they said they dont cover labor) I was told to cook my kids meals in the microwave in the meantime...I shipped the unit and didn't hear back from them,I got another brand which is working GREAT!, I am still waiting for a refund. The price is lower but if you have a problem like I did then you will have to pay A LOT extra. It is better to pay a little bit more at the end of the day...
