Product Description

Just slide your iPod into the sock to keep it safe and warm. Slide it out to dock or change playlists. It''s as easy as putting on a pair of socks. Stretches to fit any iPod, including the NEW iPod Nano 3G, Classic, and Touch. Also works great for small cell phones, digital cameras, and more. Not recommended for iPod Shuffle, as it is too small and will slide out easily. The sock fully protects the iPod, there are no holes for screen or buttons. Just slide it out when you need to change playlists. Bottom of sock is sewn shut to hold your iPod from falling out, top is wide open for easy access.

The image shown is of six socks. The shipping weight is stated as "3 Pounds". The price (incl s&h) is $2.99. Looks reasonably cheap for a sixpack of socks.

But what they send you is one single measly sock, in a letter-size envelope (TALK ABOUT "3 Pounds" of merchandise). At $2.99 for a single sock, this is a rip-off.

Everything in this ad let me believe this was a six-pack. What arrived was a single one. This is a premeditated rip-off. Save your money. Others advertise and actually sell six-packs of these socks for a reasonable price.

Moreover, the picture shows SIX (6) socks in assorted pastel colors. What I received was ONE (1) ugly GRAY-colored sock. I don't like the gray. I do like the blue. These guys don't have the decency to inform me I'll only get one (rather than the shown six) and to let me choose a color among the available displayed colors. So not only did I get short changed, but what I got was one I would never have chosen.

In the meantime, I also complained to Amazon about the misleading picture; I see that Amazon has just removed the offending image from the product page. Amazon also edited the product description by adding the word "single" at the end of it.

The better way to keep your device always new. I'm using one of this with my iPod Nano, another with my Sony Ericsson w980, another with my Sony Ericson w995 and another with my Sony Ericsson x8. The material of the sock makes it fit to so many devices, not just iPod.

Despite being a product useful, efficient and beautiful, what the consumer PQP (Cambridge, MA USA) wrote proceeds. I was also disappointed to discover that it was only ONE half. Expected to receive six, as in the photo. If it were one, should have the option to choose the color, so I believed there were six.
