The Classic CL-413 is a portable CD player which will play audio CDs, plus CD-R/RW discs. The player runs on two AA batteries. With the low battery alert, keeping ahead of run-down batteries is a cinch. With the forty-five second anti-skip protection, the CL-413 is a good choice for runners and walkers. The anti-shock system also might interest users who will use the player in conjunction with a vehicle's cassette player. The bass boost enhances the overall listening experience by adding bass; this will help counter the tendency of headphones running bass-low. With its line-out jack, it is possible to hook this player up to a stereo or other electronic equipment. The twenty-four track programmable memory will allow a listener to individualize a CD, perfect for a hard workout, or perhaps to ease off to sleep. The last Portable CD player I had was (higher price) and this Classic CD player plays just as well for a mere fraction of the price. The Anti-Skip feature is great. I can throw the CD player across the room and it won't miss a beat. Very cool! Great bang for the buck.

I got this for my kid a while ago and he likes it a lot. The anti-shock system is great to have.

Haven't encountered any trouble with the CD player and it is the first one I have owned. The anti-skip function works well and I do use it when I exercise.
